We are looking for energetic, friendly individuals to be a part of our busy hospitality department. Individuals that have a professional demeanor, positive attitude and willing to learn new things
Job Summary: Garden Assistant position is responsible for the following but not limited to;
- Assists the Garden Coordinator with beautifying the gardens/planters by weeding, watering, pruning, cultivating and mulching
- Assist with new garden creations
- Weed control on patios near gardens; assist with new garden creation
- Ensures SCC Health & Safety policies, WHIMIS training and standards are followed.

Position Specifications: Gardening interest; excellent people, communication and documentation skills
organization and multitasking skills
Experience: Gardening experience (an asset); Knowledge of plant identification and specifications (an
asset)
Work Environment: Working outside is required during warm, cold, rainy weather
Wage; $17.20-18.00/hour based on experience.
