Tee Time Cancellation & No-Show Policy

To help ensure fair access to tee times and maximize availability for all golfers, the following cancellation policy applies to members, guests, and public green fee bookings at the Stratford Country Club.

Cancellations

Tee times must be cancelled or adjusted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled tee time.

Players are responsible for cancelling any spots within their booking that will not be used, even if the remainder of the group is still playing.

Members

Members who cancel within 24 hours of their tee time or fail to show up may receive a warning for the first occurrence.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in:

• Temporary restrictions on advance booking privileges
• A no-show fee equivalent to the applicable green fee
• Additional booking restrictions for repeated occurrences

Members are responsible for the tee times they book and for ensuring their guests and playing partners attend or are cancelled appropriately.

Public & Green Fee Bookings

Green fee bookings cancelled more than 24 hours in advance may be cancelled without penalty.

Cancellations made within 24 hours, reductions in the number of players, or failure to arrive for the tee time may result in the credit card on file being charged up to the full applicable green fee for each unused spot.

Weather

Golf is played in varying weather conditions. Rain, wind, temperature, or an unfavourable forecast alone do not automatically waive the cancellation policy.

If the golf course is closed, play is suspended by the Stratford Country Club, or management determines conditions make play unreasonable, cancellation fees will not apply.

Management may make exceptions for severe weather, emergencies, or other exceptional circumstances.

Late Arrivals

Players should arrive and be ready to play at least 10 minutes before their scheduled tee time.

Late arrivals may lose their tee time and will be accommodated only if space is available.

General

The Stratford Country Club reserves the right to review repeated cancellations or no-shows and restrict booking privileges where necessary.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure available tee times are used and that members and guests have the best possible opportunity to access the golf course.
