We are looking for energetic, friendly individuals to be a part of our busy hospitality department. Individuals that have a professional demeanor, positive attitude and willing to learn new things
Job Summary: Cook position is responsible for the following but not limited to;
- Lead our restaurant team by cooking in our restaurant.
- Ensure that kitchen standards and specs are followed.
- Assist in the training of new staff in all aspects of the kitchen. (food, cooking, safety, etc.)
- Assist with future menu & special planning.
- Prep food for restaurant.
- Opening and closing duties
- Ensures SCC Health & Safety policies, WHIMIS training and standards are followed.
- Ensure the cleanliness of kitchens including washing dishes as required
- Assist with events as required.

Position Specifications:
Experience: Qualifications; minimum 5-year kitchen experience. Food Handlers Certificate preferred but not required, Smart Serve preferred but not required.
Work Environment: Works in restaurant/kitchen area, can be very hot du
ring the summer months, very steamy, greasy atmosphere, as well as outdoor environments.
Wage; $22.00 – $24.00/hour based on experience.
